"Pray"-by Michelle
"Pray all the time ask God for anything in line with the Holy Spirit's wishes. Plead with him, reminding him of your needs, and keep praying earnestly for all christians everywhere. " Ephesians 6:18
Prayer is so important in your walk with God. Without prayer we could not have a relationship with Our Savior. Prayer is simply talking to God...that's it. Imagine you have a "friend" that you hang out with everyday, all day long...but you don't really ever communicate with them. You can't really create an effective relationship like that and you won't learn anything about them! The same is true with God. The more we talk with Him and the more time we spend with Him, the closer we become...and the relationship will become stronger. When our relationship becomes stronger it gives God more of an opportunity to work through us, and we start to understand His voice and what it is that He is telling us to do. The more that God works through us, the more we are transformed into being like Christ, and isn't that our ultimate goal? Strive to be like Christ. Allow God to use you...Communicate with God! He LOVES to chat! :)
